Relay for Life
Hello! What an amazing Relay Year we have had!! Our Moose Team was the number one team for the Windber Relay for Life with a grand total of $19,448.95!! How great is that!!! Our team works hard all year round with the fundraisers. We have so much support from the lodge members, lodge board members, WOTM, and just individual people! We couldn’t come close to this without the constant support and compassion of all of you great people! Thank you thank you!!!
We do have a few fundraisers in the planning stages. We would like to do a fall Studio PM paint night again. Everyone that came out for the Wine party we did in the spring has been asking when the next one is. It was a lot of fun so we are going to do another one of those. Windber’s Oktoberfest is Saturday, October 3rd. We will be doing a cookie booth that day. Come to the park and support us! They food is amazing and the beer is always cold! You can’t go wrong with that combination.
The annual ugly sweater party is Saturday, November 28th. Start looking for those fabulously festive sweaters to wear!
Thank you so much for another amazingly successful year!!
God Bless,
Susan Shaffer

Sponsor Recognition:

Congratulations to Brothers Ray Baxter, Cameron Hissong, Rodney Grine, Ed Ruane, Rick Burgess, Gary Young, Barry Munko, Robert Kniss, and Thomas Kormanik, for sponsoring new members during July and August. They got a drink a day for being the “Bull Moose” until the next member sponsored another new lodge member. Increasing our numbers is one of your obligations of membership.
These sponsors added thirteen new members to the membership roll.
