Sponsor Recognition
Congratulations to Brothers Don Howard, Cory Shaffer, Robert Kniss, Chuck Sturtz, and Justin Chesnutwood for sponsoring new members in the past two months. They got a drink a day for being the “Bull Moose” until the next member sponsored another new lodge member. Increasing our numbers is one of your obligations of membership. They added five new members to the roll. Don’t forget the local lodge promotion—no application fee thru December 31, 2014.

Community Service:
We have another relay year in the books. What a great year it was! The Windber Moose Team raised $16,870.52!! How amazing is that??!!! Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to another banner year! We could never do this great if it wasn’t for all of you and the support of our Lodge, WOTM and Moose Legion! Thank you so much! You are truly making a difference in the fight against cancer.
We will kick off our 2014-2015 relay year with a cookie booth at the annual Oktoberfest at the Windber Park October 4th. This will be our 3rd year at this event so please come and support us and the community.
We will be taking orders in October for a gob sale. Delivery will be November 8th so watch for that. You don’t want to miss ordering gobs! We will be selling chocolate with regular filling and peanut butter filling. Yummy!!
We are planning our 2nd annual Ugly Christmas sweater party. It will be Saturday, November 29th. Start planning your sweaters now! This was so much fun last year and what a great turn out we had!! We are looking forward to continuing this tradition.
Thank you so much for your continued support of our relay team.

God Bless,
